Hence pre-primary years and education during that time demands utmost care, professionalism and expertise. Who other than the masters in this field know this requirement? This is the ground on which Sydney Group of Schools announces a one year Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma Programme in Kindergarten Education.
The Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma Programme in Kindergarten Education is a specialized programme for preparing young women (and those who are already working in this field) as facilitators of learning for the pre-primary level. The Programme has been developed to meet the ever increasing demand for trained manpower in pre-primary educational institutions. The Programme has been designed to provide a comprehensive view of the theoretical as well as practical aspects of pre-school education in the existing and emerging educational scenario.
Objectives of the Programme
- To systematize experiences and strengthen the professional competencies of pre-school teachers;
- To enable teachers to organize meaningful learning experiences for pre-school children;
- To develop skills required in selecting and organizing learning experiences;
- To develop and understanding of various aspects of pre-school management;
- To develop interpersonal and communication skills in pre-primary teachers to collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals in the community;
- To help participants design, implement and evaluate learning environments and classroom activities based on the pre-school education curriculum framework/goals and desired outcomes.

Integrated Kindergarten Curriculum
In addition to the Montessori method of Kindergarten started in 1907, we adopt various curricula of pre-primary coaching systems existing indifferent parts of world (ie, big picture learning, waldorf, Finland model, NCERT) so as to envisage a new model that is adaptable to the modern pedagogical system.
